Anna-Mi is a practising attorney at Breytenbach Mavuso Inc., currently advising clients in family law matters, civil matters as well as matters relating to deceased estates. She also assists in immigration and intellectual property matters and provides personal advice on estate planning.
She obtained her B.Com Law degree, cum laude, with economics as her specialisation. Thereafter, she obtained her LL.B degree, also cum laude. She has an interest in international trade as she completed various optional courses at the North-West University while obtaining her degrees, and completed her dissertation in the law regulating human trafficking in South Africa.
Willing to adapt to any situation or to any personality, Anna-Mi focuses on a client as an individual by explaining complex procedures, and presents the best suitable solution by applying the law in a practical and logical manner. Anna-Mi believes in effective and innovative service where no client’s matter is smaller than another, practising the values and positivity that law entails. She studies every difficult situation as a new challenge and strives for quality aid.
Starting with the motivation and support of the firm, she facilitates in any matter given to her and listens to any grievance faced by a colleague or client. Anna-Mi is passionate when dealing with family matters and thrives on the satisfaction when strenuous cases have been mediated or settled as she is a family driven person. Before the law appealed to her, Anna-Mi was, and still is, inspired to succeed at every level of life. Having interest in sports, culture, poetry and academics, she believes in a balanced lifestyle and has always been committed to expand her knowledge in various fields of life.
